Who do I call if I have a sewer emergency?
Call (816) 858-2052 and your call will be directed to the operations staff. Be sure to leave your name, address of the sewer emergency, and a phone number in order to receive a return call.
How do I obtain a sewer connection permit?
Sewer connection permits are available through the PCRSD office. Original connection permits must be obtained as it has its own unique permit number.
When is my sewer bill due?
Sewer bills are due monthly on the 24th and pays for that month's service.
How is my sewer bill calculated?
Sewer charges are calculated using a customer's average water use during the months of January, February, and March. These months are used to avoid charging customers for water used in outdoor purposes. Customers that had plumbing emergencies or excessively high usage may file a rate appeal.
When does my sewer rate change?
In most cases, rate changes take effect January 1 and coincides with the PCRSD fiscal year. Any proposed rate increase is subject to a public hearing. Notice of a rate increase is publicly posted at least 30 days before the hearing.
